Church Leadership
JOSIAH HASSE
Lead Pastor
In 1982, Josiah was born into a home recently and radically turned right side up by the transforming power of Jesus Christ. In High School, he took a step from his parent’s relationship with the Lord and got real with God on a personal level. It was then, he concluded: if God really is who the Bible says He is, then there is a clear call for the Christian to not just offer God a big part of their life, but all of it! It was during his first semester at Eastern Oregon University he felt the Lord directing him to ministry. After graduating from EOU, he headed to Calvary Chapel Bible College in Murrieta, California. This was an important time of growth and ministry experience. As a huge bonus, during his 2nd semester, Josiah met the amazing woman God picked out to be his wife. Not long after graduating in 2006, he moved to North Idaho where he and Valoree were married. There, God opened the door for Josiah to step into a role as assistant pastor/youth director at North Country Chapel in Post Falls. For 12 years the Hasse family was blessed to grow with and serve the body at NCC. Also, during this time, they welcomed 3 delightful children into their family. In 2019, they felt a stirring to take a step of faith, from their comfort zone, and into something new God had for them. They sold their home and moved to Kalispell, MT. After moving to the Flathead Valley, Josiah worked fulltime in the property management business, Valoree directed a Homeschool community, all the while hosting a weekly home fellowship/Bible study. Little by little they felt a stirring for their community and a growing desire to transition from the home fellowship to a community church group. In April of 2022, God opened doors for the use of a facility at the local grade school, where they now hold services as West Hills Chapel.
What a joy it has been for the Hasse family to see God’s faithful hand at work, producing fruit, BY the Holy Spirit, through the Word of God, that will last for eternity!
“Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,’ says the LORD of hosts” -Zech.4:6b

They attended Christ for the Nations Institute in Dallas, TX; and in 1992 Leo received his MD from Multnomah School of the Bible in Portland, OR.
