JESUS CHRIST IS KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS
Who We Are
We are a collection of individuals who most simply put, love Jesus.
We love Him, because He first loved us.
We are broken people made whole by the amazing grace of God.
We depend on the Holy Spirit.
We value the Word of God.
We seek the Lord’s presence in worship.
We treasure the connection we enjoy together in Him.
And, we believe it is God’s heart and our calling to share this gift of love with those around us!
“Such were some of you; but you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and in the Spirit of our God.” – 1Cor.6:11
ABOUT WEST HILLS CHAPEL IN KALISPELL, MT
West Hills Chapel is a local nondenominational church with roots in Calvary Chapel.
We are located in Smith Valley, Montana, about 5 miles west of Kalispell on US Highway 2. What initially began as a home fellowship in the summer of 2020, God stirred in our hearts to move to a more public venue, which would then in turn, allow us to more freely open our doors to the community. It was in the spring of 2022, we were blessed with the opportunity to begin holding services in the gymnasium at Smith Valley Elementary school.
With unprecedented growth in the Flathead Valley in the last few years, and a fewer number of churches west of Kalispell, there is a clear need for more Christ honoring, Bible teaching churches! It is our hope that the Lord would use us to reach these communities with the Good News of Jesus Christ and would allow us to encourage and feed His people.
While we are most directly connected to the communities of the West Valley, Kila, and even Marion; we welcome and currently have attendees from all over the Flathead Valley including Big Fork, Columbia Falls, Kalispell, and Whitefish.
It is our strong desire for the Holy Spirit to move in hearts and lives through the regular teaching of God’s Word, worship, communion, and Christ centered fellowship. As a general practice, we study through the Bible in a traditional “Calvary Chapel Style” chapter by chapter, verse by verse format. We see this as a safe and healthy practice. We love to worship the Lord in song believing He is in our midst. We place a high value on the regular observance of the Lord’s Supper, remembering the work of the cross. We also cherish the growth and encouragement that comes from spending time together as God’s people.
Please join us, for worship, study, and fellowship Sunday mornings at 10 AM.!”
“Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,’ says the LORD of hosts.” – Zech.4:6b
